VMHeaven vs Aeza: KYC, crypto payments and policies compared (2026)

VMHeaven and Aeza compared on document requests, Monero and crypto rules, copyright handling, CPUs, locations, hourly billing and refunds.

Published · Updated ~7 min read

In short: Aeza is the bigger network, with 11 VPS locations, a much newer CPU, hourly billing and a refund of unused balance. VMHeaven is the one with a written no-ID policy, Monero at checkout, a line that ignores DMCA notices and a line built for scanning. On privacy and crypto the two go in different directions, so read the terms before you compare prices.

The short answer

  • Pick Aeza for raw single-core speed, a location we do not have (the US among them), very fast ports or billing by the hour.
  • Pick VMHeaven if you want to pay in Monero, need a host that does not ask for documents, run a crypto node, or host content that draws DMCA notices.

Looking for an Aeza alternative?

VMHeaven is a German business (contracts under German law) with KVM VPS servers in Amsterdam and Frankfurt, from €4.99 a month for 2 vCores, 4 GB and 20 GB; it asks for no documents, takes Monero, ignores US DMCA notices on DMCA Ignored KVM, allows scanning on Pentesting KVM and allows crypto nodes. Aeza, per its own pages as of 5 Oct 2026, bills hourly or monthly from €5.93 a month in 11 locations from London to Charlotte, removes content on a proper copyright notice under Hong Kong law, and forbids any crypto activity on its servers.

Identity checks (KYC)

We found no no-KYC promise on the Aeza pages we checked, and its contract leaves the door open. Per clause 3.5 of its Public Offer, published 22 September 2026 and checked 5 Oct 2026, the provider may ask you for documents confirming the details on your account. If you do not answer in time, it may suspend or restrict the service. The contract is with EZ Infrastructure Limited and governed by Hong Kong law (clause 11.1).

We never ask for an ID card, passport, selfie, video call or phone number. Sign-up asks for an e-mail address, a name, a password and a postal address with a country. We issue the invoice to that address, and the country sets the VAT rate. None of it is verified, and our terms contain no clause that reserves a right to demand documents later. If “no KYC” is the reason you are comparing hosts, this is the row that matters.

Paying with crypto

Aeza’s knowledge base describes topping up your balance in USDT through the Telegram CryptoBot. Its article on the internal exchange rate (in Russian) says you can top up with any popular cryptocurrency and recommends USDT, TRON, TON and Litecoin for low fees. The Public Offer also covers payment by bank card. We did not find Monero named on any Aeza page we checked on 5 Oct 2026, so ask support before you count on it.

We take Monero alongside Bitcoin, Ethereum, USDT, Litecoin and more through Cryptomus, plus card and PayPal, at the same price. The steps are on our Monero VPS page.

One more difference matters if crypto is not only how you pay but what you run. Clause 10.5 of Aeza’s Public Offer rules out mining, validation and staking, wallet and payment infrastructure, and “any other cryptocurrency activity” on its services. On our VPS a node is ordinary use, and our guide to running a Monero node on a VPS walks through it.

Copyright notices and scanning

Per its violation response policy, dated 27 July 2026 and checked 5 Oct 2026, Aeza reviews copyright reports under Hong Kong’s Copyright Ordinance. On a proper notice it removes the material or blocks access to it “within the shortest technically feasible time”, and you can file a counter-notice. The same policy lists scanning networks and systems to find vulnerabilities without authorisation as a violation.

We split this by product line. On DMCA Ignored KVM, US DMCA notices are not acted on and not passed to you as an ultimatum. On every other line, they are handled like any other abuse report under our Acceptable Use Policy. Pentesting KVM explicitly allows scraping and zmap or masscan scanning, and penetration tests are limited to systems you own or have written permission to assess. Malware, phishing, fraud, spam and CSAM end a service on every line. The details are in DMCA-ignored hosting explained.

Locations, hardware and price

Per its virtual servers page, checked 5 Oct 2026, Aeza sells VPS in Warsaw, Moscow, Frankfurt, Paris, Amsterdam, Charlotte, Stockholm, Vienna, London, Helsinki and Saint Petersburg. They run on AMD Ryzen 9 9950X at 4.3 to 5.7 GHz, with ports of up to 25 Gbit/s, unlimited traffic, “Basic” DDoS protection, one IPv4 address and an IPv6 /48. The page’s FAQ says every server runs on KVM. The smallest shared plan shown, WAWs-1, costs €5.93 a month or €0.04 an hour for 1 core, 2 GB and 30 GB of NVMe, with dedicated-vCPU plans next to it. Windows Server 2022, 2019 and 2016 are offered, and the page says no licence is provided.

Our entry plan, Standard KVM 1, is €4.99 a month in Amsterdam for 2 vCores on Intel, 4 GB of DDR4 ECC memory and 20 GB of storage. The Hi-CPU plan at the same price has 1 vCore on AMD EPYC 7443. For single-thread work, Aeza’s Ryzen 9 9950X is the faster chip, and we will not pretend otherwise. In Frankfurt, DMCA Ignored KVM and Pentesting KVM start at €8.99; Standard and Hi-CPU, from €6.99 there, are sold out in Frankfurt at the moment. Windows Server 2022 or 2019 can be picked on every plan, on a time-limited evaluation licence or with your own key.

Refunds and trying it out

Aeza is ahead on both counts. Its virtual servers FAQ suggests renting a server by the hour for a few cents to test it. Per clause 13.6.1 of its Public Offer, if you end the contract early, it returns the unused balance on request, less the cost of services already provided and its expenses. Nothing is returned if the contract ends because you broke the terms.

We bill by the month. Our terms say the right of withdrawal lapses once a server is provisioned, and any goodwill refund is paid as credit on your VMHeaven account, never as cash.

  • You want ports of up to 25 Gbit/s, unlimited traffic, or an IPv6 /48.
  • You want to pay by the hour, or get unused balance back when you leave.

  • You want a host whose terms do not reserve the right to ask for documents.
  • You want to pay in Monero.
  • You want to run a Monero or Bitcoin node on the server.
  • You host content that draws US DMCA notices.
  • You want zmap or masscan sweeps and scraping named as allowed in the product policy, on a network segment set aside for them.

Pick by what your workload needs first, then read the terms of the host you pick. For the same comparison across more hosts, see no-KYC VPS providers compared.
