VMHeaven vs UltaHost: no-KYC VPS, crypto and refunds compared (2026)

VMHeaven and UltaHost compared on sign-up data, Monero, refunds on crypto payments, where DMCA-ignored servers run, prices and managed plans.

Published · Updated ~7 min read

In short: UltaHost and VMHeaven both let you sign up without an ID document and pay in crypto. UltaHost is the larger host, with data centres on several continents, managed plans and a 30-day refund on monthly VPS paid by card. VMHeaven is cheaper month to month and gives you more memory. It also names where its DMCA-ignored line runs, Amsterdam and Frankfurt, and treats crypto and card payments the same way when it comes to refunds.

The short answer

  • Pick UltaHost if you need a location outside Europe, a managed server, or a refund window on a monthly plan paid by card or PayPal.
  • Pick VMHeaven if you pay month to month, want more memory for the money, or need to know which country a DMCA-ignored server stands in before you order.
  • On sign-up UltaHost asks for less: an e-mail address. We also ask for a name and a postal address for the invoice, and verify neither.

Looking for an UltaHost alternative?

VMHeaven runs KVM VPS in Amsterdam and Frankfurt from €4.99 a month, billed monthly, for 2 vCores, 4 GB and 20 GB, takes Monero, card and PayPal with no ID check, and allows scanning on Pentesting KVM. UltaHost, per its own pages as of 5 Oct 2026, starts at $5.52 a month on a 24-month term ($9.19 list) for 1 core and 1 GB, lists managed plans in Europe, the Americas and Asia, and sells a DMCA-ignored VPS too.

Identity checks (KYC)

Per its anonymous VPS page, checked 5 Oct 2026, UltaHost runs a “No-KYC” sign-up: you register with an e-mail address only, with no ID and no credit card, and pay in crypto.

We do not check identity either: no ID card, passport, selfie, video call or phone number. Our sign-up asks for an e-mail address, a name, a password and a postal address with a country. We issue the invoice to that address, and the country sets the VAT rate. None of it is verified, but it is more than an e-mail address, and UltaHost asks for less.

Paying with Monero and other coins

Per its payment methods page, checked 5 Oct 2026, UltaHost takes credit and debit cards, PayPal, Alipay, WeChat, Qiwi, Google Pay, Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies. Monero is among the coin logos on that page. We take Bitcoin, Ethereum, USDT, Litecoin, Monero and more through Cryptomus, plus card and PayPal, all at the same price. Our Monero VPS page has the steps.

How you pay matters more at UltaHost than with us, because of the refund rules below.

Refunds

Per its cancellation and refunds policy, last revised 26 May 2025 and checked 5 Oct 2026, a VPS can be cancelled within the first 30 days for a full refund. That applies only to the first package on a billing account less than 30 days old, and not to yearly, two-year or three-year VPS plans. The policy also says packages paid for with cryptocurrency, cheques, money orders or bank wire are not eligible, and that balance top-ups are not refundable.

So under that policy the 30-day refund covers a monthly VPS paid by card or PayPal. The $5.52 price quoted on the anonymous VPS page is billed for a 24-month term, and a crypto payment is excluded too. The plan card on that same page lists a “Free 30-Days Money-Back”, though, and the DMCA-ignored VPS page carries a 30-day money-back banner. The policy and the plan cards disagree, so confirm with UltaHost before you rely on either.

Our terms say the right of withdrawal lapses once a server is provisioned, and any goodwill refund is paid as credit on your VMHeaven account, never as cash. That holds whichever way you paid.

DMCA notices and abuse policy

UltaHost sells a DMCA-ignored VPS. Its page, checked 5 Oct 2026, says UltaHost offers DMCA-ignored hosting, but its text does not say which data centres those plans run in; the only place named is a Frankfurt data centre in the page’s illustrations. On Windows it says the location “can vary”. The FAQ on its anonymous VPS page says it can disregard DMCA requests because the DMCA is US law, and that your data falls under the law of the country your server is in, “such as the Netherlands or Switzerland”. Its terms name UltaHost entities in the US, the UK, Dubai and Istanbul. They say UltaHost’s US operations follow the DMCA, including removing material and terminating repeat infringers, and that operations elsewhere follow local intellectual-property law.

Ours names its locations. DMCA Ignored KVM runs in Amsterdam and Frankfurt, and VMHeaven is a German business. US DMCA notices are not acted on and not passed to you as an ultimatum. On every other line, a DMCA notice is handled like any other abuse report under our Acceptable Use Policy. Malware, phishing, fraud, spam and CSAM end a service on every line, and an order from an authority with jurisdiction is acted on. If you buy a DMCA-ignored server anywhere, ask which country it stands in. What the label can and cannot do is in DMCA-ignored hosting explained.

Locations, hardware and price

Per its data centre page, checked 5 Oct 2026, UltaHost lists locations across Europe (London, Madrid, Frankfurt, Zurich, Amsterdam, Paris, Milan, Oslo, Stockholm, Warsaw), North America (Seattle, Dallas, Los Angeles, New York, Chicago, Toronto, Mexico City), South America and Asia, with some marked as coming soon. The cheapest plan on its anonymous VPS page, VPS Basic, is $5.52 a month on a 24-month term, against a list price of $9.19. It has 1 CPU core, 1 GB of DDR5 and 30 GB of NVMe, and is listed as a managed server. UltaHost also sells KVM VPS as a product of its own.

Our entry plan, Standard KVM 1, is €4.99 a month in Amsterdam, billed monthly with no long term needed, for 2 vCores on Intel, 4 GB of DDR4 ECC memory and 20 GB of storage. Prepaying 12 months takes 15 % off. The Hi-CPU plan at the same price has 1 vCore on AMD EPYC 7443. In Frankfurt, DMCA Ignored KVM and Pentesting KVM start at €8.99; Standard and Hi-CPU, from €6.99 there, are sold out in Frankfurt at the moment. Windows Server 2022 or 2019 can be picked on every plan, on a time-limited evaluation licence or with your own key. Every server is unmanaged, and there is no US location.

Where UltaHost is the better choice

  • You need a server in the US, Canada, Latin America or Asia.
  • You want a managed VPS, or DDR5 memory and NVMe storage in the plan specs.
  • You will pay monthly by card or PayPal and want a 30-day refund if it does not work out.
  • You want to sign up with nothing but an e-mail address.

Where VMHeaven is the better choice

  • You pay month to month and want the low price without a two-year prepayment.
  • You want 4 GB of memory at the entry price rather than 1 GB.
  • You need to know the country of a DMCA-ignored server before you order.
  • You need a line where scanning is explicitly allowed: Pentesting KVM. Section 4 of UltaHost’s terms forbids port scans on its shared, VPS and VDS plans.
