One kind of notice stops with us. Everything else about the machine, and the rules it runs under, is the same as on every other line we sell.

No force where the server stands

The DMCA is a US statute and the machine stands in the Netherlands. A notice under it is recorded and does not reach you as a countdown.

Lawful orders still count

An order from a court or an authority with jurisdiction over the server is a different document, and it is acted on.

Legal 18+ is welcome

Adult content that is legal in the Netherlands and Germany is a permitted use on this line, not a reason to drop you.

The prohibited list stays

Child abuse material, malware, phishing, spam and attacks end the service on this line exactly as on every other one.

    We read what it claims

    Every notice is checked for two things: what it says is happening on the server, and which law it relies on.

  2. 02

    A US DMCA claim stops with us

    A notice that only alleges copyright infringement under the US DMCA has no legal force in the Netherlands. It is not forwarded to you as a deadline, and nothing is taken down because of it.

  3. 03

    Abuse is handled as everywhere

    A report of malware, phishing, spam, an attack or anything else the Acceptable Use Policy forbids is reviewed and acted on, on this line exactly as on every other.

    Lawful orders count

    An order from a court or an authority with jurisdiction over the server is acted on, and data is disclosed where the law requires it (Terms of Service §11).
