Every Standard Dedicated build in Amsterdam sits behind always-on, automatic DDoS mitigation, included in the price.

  • On by default, no add-on

    Mitigation runs automatically in front of the server. There is nothing to book and no switch to find, and it is part of the price of every build.

  • What stays yours

    We look after hardware, network and DDoS mitigation; the system above the bare metal is yours. The panel has no firewall editor, so keep ufw, nftables or Windows Firewall set up on the server, and rate limits in your application.

  • What we do not promise

    We sell no uptime percentage and no credits for downtime (Terms of Service, §10). The Acceptable Use Policy applies to a protected server as to any other.

Yes. Windows Server 2022 or 2019 can be picked in the order form like any Linux image, and our team installs it when it sets up the machine; you then log in as Administrator over Remote Desktop. No licence is included in the price: Windows is installed on Microsoft's time-limited evaluation licence, and you can activate your own key whenever you like. The edition has to match, so check with support before you buy one. Windows VPS explains how the evaluation licence works.

Power-cycle the machine and open its serial console: watch it boot, and log in when sshd is gone. That out-of-band access is included from day one, not an upsell.

Every dedicated server has a 10 Gbit/s port, and 1 Gbit/s of usage is included with every one. We do not meter per GB and we do not send overage invoices; we only get in touch if a machine stays above that around the clock. If that is your plan, take the Streaming line: its 10 Gbit/s ports are genuinely unmetered.

Yes. Checkout accepts Bitcoin, as well as Monero, USDT, Ethereum, Litecoin and more, through Cryptomus at the same price as paying by card or PayPal. A dedicated server is not provisioned automatically the way a VPS is: once the crypto payment confirms, our team sets up the machine, and one already in stock is handed over within a few hours.
