VPS Europe KVM servers in Amsterdam and Frankfurt

A European VPS from VMHeaven runs in one of two EU data centres, Amsterdam in the Netherlands or Frankfurt in Germany, from €4.99 a month. All four KVM lines can be ordered in Amsterdam; in Frankfurt, DMCA Ignored KVM and Pentesting KVM are in stock right now, from €8.99. Both cities are ordered the same way, with no ID check and payment by card, PayPal or crypto, and both run always-on DDoS mitigation in front of every server.

02Lines

Four KVM lines, two price rows

Each line has the same CPU family and plan sizes in both cities. What changes is the price row, which is lower in Amsterdam, and the stock.

LineHardwareAmsterdamFrankfurtPlans
Standard KVMThe general-purpose line: the widest core count at every priceIntel · DDR4 ECCfrom €4.99In stockSold outPlans

Frankfurt is charged as its own row for every plan rather than as a surcharge on the Amsterdam price, and a line can be in stock in one city and sold out in the other.

03Price

What does a cheap VPS in Europe cost here?

Every size of our two everyday lines at its Amsterdam price, broken down per vCore and per GB of RAM. Standard KVM and Hi-CPU KVM cost the same at each size and spend the money differently.

SizeAmsterdam / monthStandard KVMper vCoreper GB RAMHi-CPU KVMper vCoreper GB RAM
1€4.992 vCores · 4 GB€2.50€1.251 vCore · 2 GB€4.99€2.50
2€9.994 vCores · 8 GB€2.50€1.252 vCores · 4 GB€5.00€2.50
3€14.996 vCores · 12 GB€2.50€1.253 vCores · 6 GB€5.00€2.50

6€39.9916 vCores · 32 GB€2.50€1.258 vCores · 16 GB€5.00€2.50

9€99.9932 vCores · 64 GB€3.12€1.5614 vCores · 28 GB€7.14€3.57

How to read it: Standard KVM 1 costs €4.99 a month for 2 vCores and 4 GB of RAM, so €2.50 per vCore and €1.25 per GB of RAM.

Paying ahead lowers the monthly rate: 5% off for 3 months, 10% for 6 and 15% for 12. Standard KVM 1 then costs €4.74, €4.49 or €4.24 a month.

DMCA Ignored KVM and Pentesting KVM come in the same sizes at their own, higher prices, from €5.99 and €6.99 in Amsterdam. Frankfurt is charged as its own row; the table above shows what it sells right now.

04Jurisdiction

What does EU hosting mean for my data?

Several layers of law apply to a server in Europe. They are easier to judge one at a time.

Your contract: German law

Whichever city you pick, you contract with VMHeaven, a business in Hamburg, under German law and with German courts responsible (Terms of Service, §21).

The machine: the law where it stands

A server in Amsterdam is under Dutch and EU law, one in Frankfurt under German and EU law, and a lawful order from an authority with jurisdiction over it is acted on. A US DMCA notice is not such an order: it has no legal force in either country.

Your account data: the GDPR

We process account and billing data under the GDPR, and you have the rights it gives you, such as access and deletion. What we collect, why and for how long is set out in the Privacy Policy.

What you host: your duty

If your server stores other people's personal data, you are the controller under the GDPR. We do not publish a standard data processing agreement; if your project needs one, contact support before you order.

Content that is illegal under local law, and everything our Acceptable Use Policy forbids, ends the service in both cities.

05Ordering

Can I order a European VPS from outside the EU?

Yes, from anywhere. Sign-up, payment and setup work the same way for both cities.

No ID check

Sign-up asks for an e-mail address, your name, a password and a postal address with the country, which the invoice is made out to. No ID document, no selfie, no phone number.

Card, PayPal or crypto

Pay by card, PayPal or crypto (Bitcoin, Ethereum, USDT, Litecoin, Monero and more). Crypto payments run through Cryptomus against your euro invoice.

Invoiced in euro

Every order is invoiced in euro and paid in advance, and the billing country you enter sets the VAT rate. Paying 12 months ahead lowers the monthly rate by up to 15%.

Set up automatically

When the payment confirms, the server is built in the city you picked, with no manual review in between. A Windows server needs longer for its first boot than a Linux one.

06Reach

Is a European VPS right for users outside Europe?

For an audience in Europe, yes. For one that is mostly elsewhere, distance matters more than the provider.

Test it yourself

from your browser

How fast is VMHeaven from where you are?

We time the round trip from your browser to our website, which is served through Cloudflare. It is not a ping to a VPS node in Amsterdam or Frankfurt — a rough guide to your own connection, measured live.

6 samples · median · your ISP, Cloudflare and our web server

Audiences across Europe

Amsterdam and Frankfurt are two of Europe's largest internet hubs, home to AMS-IX and DE-CIX; from most of Europe the route to either is short. Choose by stock, price and paperwork.

No US or Asian location

We run no servers outside Amsterdam and Frankfurt. If most of your users are in the Americas or Asia, a host near them will be faster for them than any European server.

Measure, do not guess

The test on this page times your browser's round trip to our European edge. For one specific route, take the smallest plan for a month and test it with mtr and curl from where your users are.

07FAQ

VPS in Europe: questions

Everything you need to know before deploying — and a human if you need more.

In two EU data centres: Amsterdam in the Netherlands and Frankfurt in Germany. Amsterdam carries all four KVM lines and is our only location for dedicated servers and Plesk web hosting. In Frankfurt you can order DMCA Ignored KVM and Pentesting KVM right now, while Standard and Hi-CPU KVM are sold out in that city; in Amsterdam they start at €4.99.

Yes, in two ways. We process your account and billing data under the GDPR, and the data centres are in the Netherlands and Germany. If you store other people's personal data on the server, you are the controller and the GDPR's duties are yours; we do not publish a standard data processing agreement, so contact support before you order if you need one.

Amsterdam if price and choice come first: it has the base price row and is the only city for our dedicated servers and web hosting. Frankfurt if your users or a contract are in Germany, or if you want the server under the same law as your contract. For most of Europe the difference in distance is small; measure it if it matters to you.

Yes. Sign-up asks for an e-mail address, your name, a password and a postal address for the invoice; we never ask for an ID document, a selfie or a phone number. Pay by card, PayPal or crypto (Bitcoin, Ethereum, USDT, Litecoin, Monero and more), and setup starts by itself when the payment confirms.

No. Amsterdam and Frankfurt are our only locations, and both are in the EU. If most of your users are outside Europe, a host near them will serve them better than any European server, ours included.

The DMCA is a US law and has no legal force in the Netherlands or Germany. DMCA Ignored KVM records such notices and does not pass them on to you. On every line, content that is illegal under local law, and anything our Acceptable Use Policy forbids, still ends the service.
